Ya know, we always listen to music, and our tastes, like the times, can change as qiuck as you can say "Horseradish" or "Velvet Revolver." I made a disc last week of "BIGGEST FAVES OF '05" and for this glimpse of time the best tunes are: Return To Oz - Scissor Sisters Across The Universe - The Beatles Paint It Black - WASP - (Stones cover) Paranoid Android - Radiohead Never There - Strata Still So Many Lives Away - Uli Jon Roth Over and Over - Nelly w/ Tim McGraw (I'm Not Your) Stepping Stone - The Monkees Anthem - Rush Girlfriend - Act of God (My old band... who knew this song I wrote in 4 minutes would be so catchy? It's fun!) mOBSCENE - Marilyn Manson Another Piece of Meat - Scorpions Metal Health (Bang Yer Head) - Quite Riot (My band is doing this one, just because....been head-banging for too many years non-musically) Black - Pearl Jam Scentless Apprentice - Nirvana Faeries Wear Boots - Black Sabbath The Becoming - Nine Inch Nails Everyone I Love Is Dead - Type O Negative Doll Parts - Hole That's the disc playing right now. What is yours? Muzak Junkee, CD

Kristin Hersh - "Me & My Charms (Strings Version)" from the "Foxfire" soundtrack. Her voice is quavery, high, and strangely beautiful, and then backed by cello and violin... Just haunting and sad...
