Chickabiddy started eating solids (applesauce and rice cereal) this past weekend...
It is funny how when you feed a baby, it is almost instinctual to open your mouth to get them to open up for the food!

So cute...
Solid foods change the whole diaper changing experience, don't they? Remember to add just one new food a week...in case of allergic reactions. (can't help it-I'm a grandma)
What's an agility class for dogs?

Fashioned after horse Show Jumping, Dog Agility made its debut as a demonstration in the UK at Crufts in 1978. Today, Agility is the fastest growing dog sport. It is a sport that finds dog and handler teams leaving the agility course celebrating, whether they have qualified in their run or not. It is also very popular among spectators, the action is fast and it is always entertaining whether the dog does as the handler asks or not. It's fun for everyone!
If you have never seen it, check it out. It is a lot of fun to watch.
And Topsi is very good at it!

Nothing like solids for a whole new olafactory experience!!  Just remember.... no gluten! no wheat oats barley or rye in anything until she is a minimum of six months old!! ( you don't want her to end up coeliac now do you?!)

Yes I thought no solids at all until 6 months...must have been dreaming that up. Hope she is tolerating them okay, and be sure to follow the above advice and only add one new food a week! Starting off with baby rice cereal is definitely a good thing.
Love the pictures..she's cute as ever!
