scared the bejeezes out of me!

Holy crap! I just woke up and I ALWAYS leave the hallway light on - ALWAYS! When I went to bed at 1230 it was on. I woke up at 148 and it was off. I freaked out. I sat with the phone in my hand for 45 minutes before I finally got up the courage to get out of bed. It was bitch black in here. All I could hear in my head was him telling me how the bullets he has have a 98% kill rate on the first shot. I sat here with my heart in my throat thinking what if he is in the hallway and I can't see him and I move and he shoots. What if I turn on the phone and I hear his voice telling me to turn it off and put it down. I am scared. How can someone put this much fear into another human? How can someone just go about their life and think this is all right to treat and scare someone this way? I'm mad. I'm terrified. I'm scared. I can't sleep. I eat and I throw up. I don't know what to do anymore. I am sitting here at my computer at 3am because I'm too scared to try to sleep. I can't keep doing this. I can't keep this up for much longer. God. Please pray for me. Please keep my child and me in your thoughts and prayers.

No ones going to hurt you, you can't live your life in fear. Your mind is playing games with you. Best thing you could have done was confront your fear right away. 9 out of 10 times that phobia will go away. I know it sounds harsh but it true. Sean......................

Not knowing the man in question, I can't say how seriously to take his threats. If you think he is actually capable of harming you or your child, then you need to do some thinking about your options and about some proactive steps to protect yourselves. Do you have anywhere else you can stay until this is over and done with? Do you have any sort of protective order keeping him from calling or following you around? If you have to stay in the house, then you need to make sure each window is locked and have new locks put on the doors. Talk to your local constabulary and explain your situation and ask them if they will have a unit roll through your neighborhood a few times at night. If you don't already have a cell phone, get one, even if it's just one of those TracFones. I have one and it works great. He can't cut the line on a cell phone. Tiannia had a thread about things to do to keep from being abducted or attacked. You might want to read it/read it again. http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=general;acti on=display;num=1108404989
