Probably wherever my spotter directed me.  But if the direction were up to me, judging from that photo, I'd go straight as far as I could, then cut the wheel to the right and sneak around that nasty boulder sticking up, just waiting to catch my right rear corner. 
And to answer Charlie: Why do we do it? Hrmmm... Part of it is a love for the outdoors, part of it is being able to go where others can't, part of it is testing our limits and the limits of our rigs, comaraderie, a level of concentration that approaches something like Zen... Lots of reasons.
