Is President Bush spending money like a drunken sailor, or is it my imagination?
I heard that it costs in the vicinity of 5 billion dollars a month to run the war in Iraq. Maybe I'm wrong, someone prove it to me. Please.

They all have since I can remember. Haven't been too many guys/gals in Washington that are too tight with the ol' purse strings.

He is and they all have. I just wish he would listen just a trifle to the Liberatarian wing of the GOP; where I was for so many years.
I need more bus service, not less. It trickles down...on me lately. 
It woud be nice to not focus every budget cut on things that hurt me. I'm starting a be nice to me party.

Don't worry, somehow I think that as long as we have the most bombs the US will do ok financially. I could be wrong.

I think it's more than high time for a third party. Neither the ReBOOBlicans nor the DemoCRAPS serve any of us, anymore. They pander to the whiners, the lobbyists, the special interest groups, and it's ALL about money and who's in who's back pocket. Recent elections have boiled down to, not picking the man best suited for the job necessarily, as much as trying to pick the lesser of two evils, as we try to see our way clear through all of the mud-slinging and smokescreens that both parties continue to obscure things with.
The sooner we get back to personal, individual responsibility for one's actions, earning one's own way, and putting Americans first in employment, finished goods, production, and manufacturing, the sooner our nation will be back on the right track. Until then, I'm afraid it's just a continuous downward spiral.

What is wrong with his GAY daughter holding the bible? It is HIS daughter, and if he wants that, then so be it.
Don't get me started about how gays are abused and shit on. What is so wrong about same sex marrage, or at least legal union? THAT is not what is wrong with marrage today, and in no way detracts or jepredizes (spelling??) traditional marrage. Why can't a life partner go into the ICU area of the hospital to visit their partner?
GRRRR!!! Don't get me going!!! Neither party wants to step out on these ideas!
Roe vs Wade was settled MANY years ago. Why are people still trying to tear it down?
Why don't the congressmen and senators dump their lucrative "gravy train" retirement policy and get on the social security system, like the rest of us have to? THEN the system would be fixed!
