Ugh... Norton sucks harder than an Electrolux.

In concert with the latest Netscape that's based on the Mozilla platform, with built-in pop-up blocker and spam filters, life is good.

I use this myself and I use the net update weekly.  There are new signature files nearly every day, as I did test this out, but once a week is a good safe bet.

Haven't had a single issue but for some spyware and adware that SpyBot missed.

PS Don...I also use XP...

I was wondering what was going on. Norton AV seems  to have a program update every two days now. I just ran into AVG causing XP to BSOD so I will try avast next. Thanks Kirk.

Running Avast, works real good till now, 2 tojans keep popping up, w32:Kreper and now w32:Kuang2
Gonna have to do the safe mode thing and kill some files. Spybot, Adaware, Avast, and CWshredder aint getting rid of them. Gotta find them little suckers hidey hole and then they wont boot any more  Smiley
