Sponge Bob? I did him. Then I helped him as he tied off a vein and mainlined a bunch of smack. He was awful... He didn't even offer me a cigarette afterward, and hasn't called or written me since... I feel so USED!!

I remember a cartoon from the early 60's, pretty sure it was British, and two of the characters were Seaman Staines and Master Bates. It was called Captain Pugwash (and I'm leaving that alone completely).

I found the Capt. Pugwash story hard to believe so I googled it. It's just an urban legend, not true. There never was a Master Bates, Seamen Staines or Roger the cabin boy. See... http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/pugwash.htm Bob

Ain't childhood memory the strangest thing? I can stand here, hand on heart, and swear that it was true. Yet reading the Stopes report I'm astonished. Fair dinkum, a bloke doesn't know what to believe anymore!
