I've been stuck on the new KASABIAN disc. Great stuff. Been in a metal mood the last couple of days. Just threw on the Scorpions "Blackout" after listening to "Virgin Killer." The Scorpions were incredible even way before their biggest album "Love At First Sting." Radiohead - Hail To The Thief (In my opinion their absolute best disc to date next to OK Computer being a close second.) Manowar - Sign Of The Hammer (Viking Metal!) Manowar - Into Glory Ride Slipknot - 1st Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 Disturbed - The Sickness Coroner - No More Color Quiet Riot II - (Very rare w/ Randy Rhoads before he joined Ozzy.) Type O Negative - World Coming Down (My fave disc from them.) and slipped in a couple other things: Sammy Hagar - Red Cocteau Twins - Blue Bell Knoll Ani DiFranco - Dilate The Pixies - Doolittle Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire (John McLaughlin) Enigma - The Cross Of Changes Violent Femmes - 1st The Cure - Kiss me, Kiss me, Kiss me What are YOU listening to this week?

Show tunes. Maybe tune into Lawrence Welk. (what ever happened to Mitch Miller?) Watch a couple Bogart movies. Have a bubble bath with a couple of close friends. Go see Wayne Newton in Vegas. MY Gawd! Somebody wake me! Please. I'm having a nightmare.

I'VE BEEN CURSED!!!!!! Someone at work was listening to Cat Stevens as I walked past their desk yesterday. Now, I have had 'Morning Has Broken' bouncing around inside my tormented head since then. When you are a musician and you get a song stuck in your head, you can hear it as good as if you had the CD playing right next to you. I don't even like that song but I've heard it so many times in my head since yesterday, I could sit down with my guitar now and play it without the use of sheet music. AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Pat

I like this one by Simpson...but you know, I haven't heard her CD in a long, long time... ANGELS I sit and wait Does an angel Contemplate my fate? And do they know The places where we go When we're grey and old? 'Cause I've been told That salvation lets their wings unfold So when I'm lying in my bed Thoughts running through my head And I feel that love is dead I'm loving angels instead And through it all He offers me protection A lot of love and affection Whether I'm right or wrong And down the waterfall Wherever it may take me I know that life won't break me When I come to call He won't forsake me I'm loving angels instead When I'm feeling weak And my pain walks down a one way street I look above And I know I'll always be blessed with love And as the feeling grows He breathes flesh to my bones And when love is dead I'm loving angels instead And through it all He offers me protection A lot of love and affection Whether I'm right or wrong And down the waterfall Wherever it may take me I know that life won't break me When I come to call He won't forsake me I'm loving angels instead I'm loving angels instead, ohhh oh yeah And through it all He offers me protection A lot of love and affection Whether I'm right or wrong And down the waterfall Wherever it may take me I know that life won't break me When I come to call He won't forsake me I'm loving angels instead

If we're talking songs about angels, then my favorite is "Angel's F*ck" by Jack Off Jill. Angel's F*ck I woke up, mourning I woke up dead today I aged a thousand years or more I flinch when you are nice You kill me with a single word When angels f*ck and devils kiss, I'm sure I'll bask in your forever You just waste my time I want to drag you down, down with me I wanted to help, to help destroy the world I wanted to be that, to be that special girl Everybody's got a little something to hide, but me Everybody's got a little someone to crush, but me I'm living in a human teenage mediocrity Everybody's got a little someone to trust, but me I dreamed that I was you I dreamed your ego died Sad who loves you more than I do I know you lied I'll bask in your forever F*cking waste of time Angels f*ck and devils screw I wanted to heal me and then destroy the world Piss in your heart and be that, and be that special girl Everybody's got a little something to hide but me Everybody's got a little someone to crush but me I'm living in a teenage negative mediocrity Everybody's got a little someone to trust but me But me, but you Not me Hate you Love me, love me, hate you Want me, f*ck you, hate me Kill you F*ck me, like you, want me Like you want you f*ck you F*ck me, f*ck you, f*ck you f*ck you f*ck me F*ck you, f*ck me, f*ck you f*ck you f*ck me (You never loved me) F*ck you, f*ck you, f*ck you f*ck you f*ck me I will never make it better I will never make it better It will always hurt you f*cking a$$hole Hirvimaki-Isi

Watch out! My outfit's ridiculous, in the club lookin' so conspicuous. And Rowl! These women all on the prowl, if you hold the head steady I'm a milk the cow. Forget about the game, I'm a spit the truth, I won't stop till I get 'em in they birthday suits. So gimmie the rhythm and it'll be off with their clothes, then bend over to the front and touch your toes. I left the jag and I took the roles, if they aint cutting then I put em on foot patrol. How you like me now, when my pinky's valued over three hundred thousand, Lets drank you the one to please, Ludacris fill cups like double D's. Me and Ursh once more and we leave 'em dead, we want a lady in the street but a freak in the bed to say YEAH!
