What made you happy today?

It's possible to have happy moments every day. Here's few of the things which made me happy today:
1. I got a card from a friend
2. Sun was shining
3. Warm piece of rye bread
4. Reading one of my fave magazines
5. Listening to my favourite music
6. Getting a good grade from a difficoult essay
7. Call from a friend
8. Finding a nice DVD on sale
9. Eating few apricots
10. Taking a long, relaxing walk.
I hope you all had inspite the pain also moments of happiness. You deserve it!

Seriously what has made me happy today?
A 200 mile drive with three kids in the car down to Kent to see my friend Lisa.. utter joy huh?!
Getting a NEW Sony megawotsitthingummydoodah camera. I've nearly mastered putting the batteries in.. don't hold your breath for pics!
BLARING JUDAS PRIEST while driving (drowns out the kids) and blowing a speaker
Another half an hour and Lisa will be home and we will be sitting down to watch a DVD together and have a good old girly giggle!

Langa - I LOVE that song..."No More Drama." The conviction of her voice in that song gives me chills!
Mmm...what made me happy today?
1. I got good sleep, and woke up feeling refreshed!
2. I went to the Doc and, with the exception of the leg issue - everything else was good news.
3. I spent a good hour or more playing with my lil buddy Elijah, making animal noises for him to make him laugh. He loves when I make the elephant sound and use my arm as the trunk.
4. I was able to help a friend out of a tight spot
5. A good long walk in the sunshine...felt really good.
6. I found out a friend got me a ticket to a concert this coming Monday... Chevelle w/ Helmet and Crossfade!!! That should kick some ass.
and finally, what has me smiling right now...
Listening to the Scorpions - Virgin Killer at 90db!!!

Also, I had a great laugh with my coworkers today as I do most days.

Last night at work - a guy sits down at my table and buys in for $2000.00. He immediately starts slamming his fist on my table... cussing, telling others how to play - generally being an ASS.
( the whole table was winning before he sat down with his attitude)
So he starts playing in the middle of the shoe - and losses every hand (along with everyone else) playing 100.00 a hand.
Slamming his fists, cussing - blaming everyone on the table... calling me some names in his language ( i think he was Greek - I could be wrong) If he had 18 - i had 19 - if he had 20 - I'd pull a 21... if he had a blackjack - i had a blackjack.
It was halarious. He's totally bitchin the WHOLE time.
He has 200.00 left - so he decides to play two hands (100 on each for those who arent mathematically inclined)...
He gets 20 on each hand - and I have a 6 showing.
(for those of you who don't play blackjack - that's a perfect situation - the dealer should break on that hand and he should win.)
He stops the game - smiles and says "NOW whatta ya gonna do??? HUH? I win - pay me!!!!!!"
So I turn over my cars... I have a 2 for 8 - then I pull a 3 for 11 - then I pull a 10.
So I say "Thatsa whata Ima gonna do.... PEACE OUT" and I saluted him.. and smiled soooooooo nicely.
He slammed his fist on the table so hard the table shook - called me something and left.
The rest of the table laughed hysterically - and I made about $75.00 from everyone at the table - just tipping me for that.
that was about 12 hours ago - been laughing ever since.
That'sa whata you'a get........Assholio!!!!!!!!!!!!
2000.00 in 5 minutes - Buh BYE!
