I ask to myself what the 'healthy people' is looking at when they say: “Did you have an HA? Not because I can’t believe that, you look very nice today... ” ma vaffanculo... grrr.... Still fighting the awful bastard beast, I had a swift augmentation of the attacks from 2 to 9 a day... + contusions all over my body (I had a car accident)... Sometimes I’m wondering what harm we did to stand such pain... as you all, I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... I hate the CH... ODIO LA BESTIA! Thanks God I have some Trex...

Sorry because of your pain Zazi. Hope (and wish) you will be pain free soon... Wow! 25 boxes of trex injection! (The annual trade of it was 1,300 boxes in Hungary (in 2003) I hate the insurance company.

.... I must say..... Italian CHs are lucky. In italy we don’t pay any insurance because Health is public (State). We can get Imitrex we need paying 2$ a box (i.e. 2 shots).... and it is not difficult to get it, it is sufficient that the Neuro certifies that you have CH....

Zazi...first let me say I'm glad you were not injured more severly in your car accident! I guess that how we feel about having CH is an individual thing based on our spiritual beliefs. I, personally, look at it as a way God and I have chosen to test my faith and courage. Never once did I think I deserved it, or even deserved the other trials in my life. But I do know that I can learn much from suffering and I can use it to grow spiritually. one final thing: what is the translation of ma vaffanculo? I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in NYC and heard it and even used it fairly often. I have never really learned exactly what it meant! I'm stunade (spelling?) love, nani

I'm sorry you're hurting Zazi...I've asked myself the same question...and I refuse to believe we've done anything THAT horrible to deserve this pain...We did nothing wrong, and as Nani said...we can learn and grow from it. Hugs for ya. Nani, I always wondered about those translations too...also, gavone (sp?)...Zazi, is Gavone someone that eats a lot...I think Stunade means stupid... Langa

Zazi, With all the bad luck you have been having lately, i.e. Car accidents, stalkers, etc... it really seems only right that you are able to obtain as much Imigran as you need for so little. I am happy for you for that at least. You (we) did nothing to deserve this pain. Linda

We didn't do anything to deserve this pain!!! I like nani think each person depending on their beliefs have different views on why we have them. Personally I like to think maybe I chose to have them so someone else, maybe someone who wasn't strong enough to deal with them wouldn't have to. Maybe we are the troopers who stepped up to the plate and said o.k. we will do it because we are the strong ones!!!

Hi there, Zazi! Good to see you posting again. I am glad you weren't injured any worse than you were. I like the new picture you are using for your avatar. It's kind of fiesty looking. Shows off an attitude. Good for you. What did we do to deserve the pain? Nothing. I don't associate any divine challenge or spiritual intervention nor any profound higher meaning to it. We got the screwed up brains (and whatever else) - we got the CH. c'est la vie

Don’t be silly. There is no way to know exactly…precisely what it was you or I did to deserve CH. Butt you can bet yer sweet ass it must have been a doozie! Most of the bad shit I have done…. has contained some degree of pleasure…damn I wish I could remember what I did to deserve this! I must have had a whopper of a good time. Being the highly enlightened being that I am… I am aware of the karmic law of reciprocity. An eye for an eye…sow and reap…as the twig is bent so grows the tree. I feel that God is a sniveling twerp for slipping some past live’s punishment into this saintly life….and not even allowing me to remember what was obviously a serious run of pure unadulterated evil. I swear I am gonna do one of those past life regression thingys and get to the bottom of this. What a blessed relief it will be when I get to see what it was I did to deserve CH…and then…well….I’ll just feel better…sighing…as that…. that recognition washes over me….and during my next CH I can then feel somehow satisfied that I am getting my just desserts. I suspect it will even lessen the pain…cause the psychic frustration of being undeservedly hit will finally be resolved. And to those that told you that you and they “did nothing to deserve CH” …well they are in denial …and I’m glad I’m not like them….cause to be in denial on top of CH would be…well frankly…. a pain in the ass. Walk in the sunshine den

I am so sorry for your pain... I have been wondering the same question since my first CH... The conclusion I have for the time being is that the pain is here to teach me a lesson. Perhaps, in my case, not to ignore myself, but to take a good care of myself. Did we deserve it? NO! Absolutely not. No one does... I believe in God and that God never gives anyone burdens which are too hard to handle. My strength has been tested with CH, though. But it has made me stronger. Wishing you PF days, Sandie

Zazi, We have talked about this. I wish there was an answer for us all. That there was somethign that we could do or learn or whatever that would bring an end to the pain that we are all in. I am so sorry that you have been put through so much in the short time that i have come to know you.. You are one of the strongest people that i know. You did nothing. Even though I have asked mself that same question more times then I care to think about. I wish there was more that I could say. Blessed be my friend. You have a great support group around you. I hope that you can find some peace in knowing that you have so many people who watch out for you and that you can lean on. Ok stopping now before I start crying here at work. My love, my sister, -Tia

It may help to look at our condition w/a bit of perspective such as: I'm not an 8 year old with cancer, bald, and 6 months to live. I don't have ALS, I'm not blind, I'm ambulatory. Of course our condition is horrible but it could be much, much worse. There will be help for us in the future and some mitigating medicines in the meantime. Hope you get some PF time Z!

Dave, I agree with you... I was telling my wife the other night that I'd rather have CH than Cancer, or Multiple Sclerosis, or any terminal disease. As bad as CH are, we know what to expect. Horrible but temporary pain.... and that's it! It's not gonna get worse than that... It's not like tomorrow our legs are going to cease to function, or other horrible symptoms. Zaira, as far as why? Don't ask me, I can't answer that. We haven't done anything. It's not a punishment nor a sentence. You can't always ask why. Life is never easy... we all get thrown hard balls out of the blue. Loss of loved ones, diseases, natural disasters, etc... Just remember, nobody said it was gonna be a piece of cake. At least since I have CH, I've learned to put things in perspective. I try to focus on what's good in my life, and I feel blessed. If CH is the price I have to pay to have a roof over my head, a great wife, too many guitars and still manage to laugh everyday.... I'm in! Cheer up! Rex
