I am freaking!!!!
I am excited!!!
I am scared!!!
I feel like I am 17 again and I just got away with something incredible, and I am afraid the beast with come home even more pissed at me than before.
I have had light shadowing a few times, but nothing like the ordinary dull drilling. I am sleeping again, and getting lots too! I am feeling MUCH better and a friend told me that my body is probably recouperating with sleep thus the Fibro has lessened alot too. After reaching my 7 year anniversary of being chronic this month, I am pondering what it will be like if this continues and I go episodic again.
As a test, saturday afternoon I had a pint of Brandy at a pre-game party. Brandy is the only alcohol that will trigger a CH for me. That night, I went out for drinks & dancing with friends now that my legs are doing better! I was scared later about tempting the beast with the Brandy. So I did my third and final dose (until the beast returns) that night. Also that night, stopped off at a local club here downtown and watched the band. They were okay, kind of boring. The drummer kicked ass though, and I walked up to them when their set was over and said "Looking for a better gig?" and realized I knew the dude. One of my old drummers from church of all places, LOL! So my covers band is almost complete! This drummer makes my old one look like a chump. I'm glad Rich flaked out when he did.
Sunday I did a drum track for my old guitarist and in return borrowed a piece of gear I desperately needed to get started on my next two discs (the Former and Psyclone. ) While I can, I am staying busy!
Oh, and won a superbowl bet too! I teased my buddy Chris that the Eagles would be plucked. I was right again. 
Also, I may be mistaken but, did anyone see the Pepsi commercial with the band playing in the garage where they knocked the bottle over, the CD started skipping, picked the bottle up and continued to play? Was that Radiohead playing the Von Bondies "C'mon C'mon" or had the Heinies already kicked in? I've been wrong before, but that looked like Thom York singing.
Anyway, I feel weird like I stepped through a time portal or something. Like PD said, I'm so used to being in pain all the time with everything, I don't know how to feel right now.
I'll say one thing: I am printing out some info to take with me to my doc thursday. It seems logical to me that, since Psilocybin is relatively harmless, it does much less damage to the body than many of the drugs used to combat cluster headache. Triptans are very hard on the heart over a period of time and when you are chronic, everyday aborted is another stored for hits. I also plan to email Harvard about the Psilo study and my current results should they continue at this rate.

10 days PF for me. Okay, so I was told not to get excited right away, but after 10 days, I can't help it. Another thing, i'm sleeping like a baby...haven't slept this good in...well, since I can remember.

Carl glad to hear it worked for you! I know excatly how you feel, I tried em, last week also. Igot nailed the next morning by 2. one was about a 4 and the other a 10+. I tuffed it out though. I just used the o2 and no trex. I was off all meds for 10 days. And besides the first day I went for a week without a pill or a headache. Then I got hammered about 4 in one day and a couple the next, and had to wimp out and do a shot while I was at work. Oh well plan on trying it again on vacation. But that week I was happy as hell. Felt Like I kicked TYSON"S ASS! Good Luck!
