Planning a party - suggestions needed
« on: Feb 7th, 2005, 2:05pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

I'll be 25 in April and I'd like to celebrate my quarter of a centuary birthday with style. But the trouble is that I've run out of ideas!

One of my best friends turned 25 on Saturday and she had a quiet tea party for few of her dearest friends. I'd like to have little bigger thing than that. We had good time, though.

Any suggestions...?
How did you celebrate your 25th birthday?

For my 25th bday, my girlfriends and some co-workers went on an all night cruise dancing boat in NY City.  It was a surprise my sisters put together for me.  We had a ball...dancing, great food, and it was just women...and you guessed it...male strippers... Shocked

I've never seen anything like it...bunch of sex-crazed women running me over trying to get on-stage...pushing and shoving...I had to jump on Zoro's back to keep myself from getting hurt.  Roll Eyes

Doesn't compare to a tea party...but I had fun  Undecided

Are you inviting us to this party btw?

Koskenkorva, of course. If you want to be classy, buy a 12 pack of Karhu or Koff.

Or did you want a few non-Finnish party ideas?

Amazing, Jonny, you're only half-Finnish, yet you have an intuitive understanding of what a Finnish birthday celebration entails.
