For those of you who are not familiar with the name Rodin, he is also the sculptor who made "the Thinker".  I believe he is one of the most gifted as his sculptures seem to evoke emotion like no other.

Sorry Langa, I don't understand why you put the rolling eyes smiley on your post?  I was just sharing a piece of art by one of my favorite artists.  Didn't mean to offend anyone...

Langa, thank you for explaining.  Sometimes I just hate the net because it's hard to get how we feel across on this sort of medium! Smileymel

I think what really gets to me, is their body language.  Just imagining holding my loved one the same as they are holding each other, well it just makes me love him all the more. Smiley

Yes!  I don't see it as just a lustful kind either, but also a more deeper, intertwining, 2 becoming 1 type of kind...  If that makes any sense. Undecided

It sure does...Passion is so much more than Lust...it's what you said and more...Passion is all consuming...I love the way they hang on to each other, taking each other in...it's looks like they're just kissing, but their spirits are one and there's a lot more going within that kiss than we see...

Great artist, indeed.
