Your Dream Car
« on: Feb 4th, 2005, 9:35am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Yesterday after work I went to local car dealerships looking for a newer car as I want to trade my '97 Jeep.

Believe it or not I've always loved the look of the Chrysler PT Cruiser - probably because I love the '30's cars and will go to a car show if old cars are being displayed...Well, my friend who was with me started laughing at me and thought I was crazy when I took it for a test drive.

(Did I just hear snickering on the board here...? Undecided)

Well, I might just buy it... Grin  I suppose if I had a lot of money, I'd buy a Corvette, Cherry Red - MY DREAM CAR -but that's not going to happen.

What's your dream car?

My dream car is any car that still runs, is paid off, and has some warranty left on it.

Or... Any brand new Lotus would do.

This one would be cool too.

This thread has that damn Billy Ocean song stuck in my head now......

Hey you, get in to my car
Who me?
Yes you, get in to my car
Woooooooooh. Wah! Hey!

Who's that lady
Coming down the road
Who's that lady
Who's that woman
Walking through my door
What's the score
I'll be the sun
Shining on you
Hey Cinderella
Step in your shoe
I'll be your non-stop lover
Get it while you can
Your non-stop miracle
I'm your man

Get outta my dreams
Get in to my car
Get outta my dream
Get in to the back seat baby
Get in to my car
Beep Beep, yeah
Get outta my mind
Get in to my life
Ooooooh
Oh I said hey (Hey) you (You)
Get in to my car

Oh baby

Lady driver
Let me take your wheel
Smooth operator
Touch my bumper (Bumper)
Hey, let's make a deal
Make it real
Like a road runner
Coming after you
Just like a hero
Outta the blue
I'll be your non-stop lover
Get it while you can
Your non-stop miracle
I'm your man

Get outta my dreams
Get in to my car
Get outta my dreams
Get in the back seat baby
Get in to my car
Beep beep, yeah
Get outta my mind
Get in to my life
Ooooh
Oh I said hey (Hey) you (You)
Get in to my car

Oh baby, lets go!

I said open the door
(Get in the back)
Tread on the floor
(Get on the track)

Yeah (Yeah) yeah (Yeah)
Yeah (Yeah) yeah (Yeah)

Let's go!!

Oooh, wooow, yeah

I'll be the sun
Shining on you
Hey Cinderella
Step in your shoe
I'll be your non-stop lover
Get it while you can
Your non-stop miracle
I'm your man

Get outta my... get outta my...
Woooooooooh
Get out my dreams

My best friend's husband is a mechanic and she's learned a lot by being with him and one of the things they like to do is buy old cars they can repair together and then sell.  And they have the grandest old time...she gets so excited when he buys another car to repair...she calls it "a new project"...  Tongue

I don't get it... Undecided  But to each his own...LOL

Langa,

That has been a second business idea of Sam's.  He wants to buy project cars and fix them up.  I have some past machinest experience and he thinks it would come in real handy for some custom parts.  To make some cars VERY origional.

One of the cars my friends just fixed up they bought at $1900, took their time fixing it up - about 4 months and just sold it for $5K.  I was a '70's car.  They really have a great time fixing them up.  So they have fun and make money...I guess it's not a bad idea, after all...LOL!
