Ok Ladies need some help>>>

Ok it is almost Amy and my anniversary, and yesterday me and the kiddos went a picked out a new bedroom suit for Amy, (it was hell keeping the kiddos quiet). Anyways we did have a King Size bed, I bought a Queen size with dressers and now everything matches for a change. My question is did I do the right thing going from a king size to a queen size. I will post pics as soon as the delivery men get here. I just hope I have it all set up before she gets home from work. Forget to post that the old bed is 8 years old and worn well

Sounds great to me, I would love to have a whole bedroom of furniture that matches, wouldn't care if I had to go to a queen size bed.
Did you think to get queen size sheets?

What a nice thing to do. Just remember the newer mattresses are deeper so you need deeper pockets on the fitted bottom sheets.
King size beds take up way too much room and the bedding is way too expensive for them so from my point of view you've done a good thing.
I sure hope she likes her surprise. I'll bet she'll be thrilled to have everything that matches. Let us know.

Though I love King size beds, I think having a brand new bedroom is really cool too. I believe your wife will be thrilled!
I suspect you'll be trying for another kiddo on the new bed right away

Heck yeah!!! OMG I would be floored if hubby had gone and gotten us a matching bedroom set! Big deal if you gotta sleep closer to each other on a smaller mattress.

Ok everyone here it is the movers just left...
This is the bed.
This is the dresser...
This is a gift certificate for a 1 hour body massage, and body wrap.
I hope she enjoys her presents...Oh and as for the comment of making a new baby...Nope I have been cut and she had the baby basket taken out...We love our kiddos but we have enough! But we do enjoy the practice

BUT, I hope you have better luck than I did! I did the same thing for (I think) our 14th anniversary. She HATED the set I bought, and gave me a huge ration of shit for spending that much money without her input! She got our money back, and it was not until we had been married almost 23 years before WE bought a complete bedroom set. And then a few years later, when she threw me out, she GAVE away the set!!! I was furious!!! It cost us over 8 grand!!!

Best I ever got were a dishwasher and a lawnmower (so I wouldn't complain about having to do those jobs)... oh wait, that's all I got... not bad for a 7 year marriage, huh? LOL

Our separation and divorce had nothing to do with the bedroom set. It is just that she has VERY specific desires and taste in furniture (and clothing too. I learned NEVER to buy her clothes!).
Have fun in the new playroom! And you had better make sure that it is of good quality and has no defects. In order to do that, the reclining piece of the furniture, needs to be tested VERY strenuously, and often, to make sure there are no defects. I will leave it up to you to figure out what sort of vigorous stress testing needs to be done on it ....

Well Bob since you want to see moving men. I found these guys on the web, it is not the guys who delivered the bedroom suit but a close match.
Would anyone like a slightly used king size bed...St Vincent DePaul cant come pick it up till tomorrow, and I dont have a Damm truck....
