WOW...That is nice...I'm kinda jealous. My bedroom in the Bronx had a window that faced the alley with the trash cans.

Cool BM!!! I worked in U.S. steel for 4 years. My poor car was in decent shape when I started working there and a pile of crap before i quit. I also grew up in the armpit of America. I spent my youth in between East Chicago Indiana smelling the steel mills and Whiting Indiana smelling the refineries Lever Brothers, and American Maize. People who aren't from this area just dont understand that mixture of aromas.

What lake is that? Where? Looks like a great place to grow up. I'm a born and raised Texan. I grew up looking at the cows, horses and coyotes.

| Redd - I came from an abusive background as well. I was the last child and my parents already had two boys. My dad wanted a girl so bad that, when I was born - I was a big disappointment. He took everything out on me, and I went through hell growing up. Spent the first 7 years of my life in the East St Louis ghetto, where I learned what it meant to be a minority. Then we moved to Granite City Illinois where I have spent most of my life. I didn't have a normal childhood, and started doing drugs at a very early age (10 years old) as an escape. Later in life, I wondered if my drug years contributed to the CH or even caused it, but there are many clusterheads who have never so much as touched a cigarette. Peace, CD

Nice picture Vietvet. I grew up in Lenexa Kansas (suburb of Kansas City) and I we had a house that backed up to the woods. We'd leave the house in the morning and not come home until dinner. It was great!!! Trees, a creek, deer tracks, bobcat tracks, coyote tracks and snakes. It was a really cool place to grow up!!

Some say I never did but I was born in Lakewood, NY, near Jamestown, in the southwestern corner of New York State about 20 miles from Pennsylvania and 30 miles from Lake Erie. Buffalo is 70 miles north. Snow we understand. It's a pretty rural area of the State. Mom and dad had chickens and grew a lot of stuff to munch on which was a throwback to victory gardens during the war. After we ate the chickens, we had an egg man who delivered eggs door to door a couple times a week. I liked that. Such stories you people have. I was so very lucky. Nothing at all like that to report. You people break my heart sometimes. Charlie

Grew up in NY state near the border of VT. Looked at cows and smoked lots of weed. Beautiful area, though. I would recommend going to Vermont during leaf changing season any day. PF wishes BMonee

Born in Janesville, Wisconsin Raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, by loving parents. The only crappy part was my doing... despite the child at 18 and the stupid decision to marry at 19, my family still loves me and supports me emotionally. Guess I'm pretty lucky.....
