I'm freaking out here people. He went out at 7 last night and is not home. There are only 2 scenarios here - dead or arrested. I am calling the hospitals now. God you guys I am freaking out.

Where was he going...call there first.
Then if you need..call the local jail.
There is probably an explanation for all this...but panic and worry only hurts you and doesnt change the situation.

I am going to kill him. Plain and simple. He is at his best friend's house. He left at 7 last night and was going out for "a little bit" - I was doing homework and played a couple of games with Colin, Colin went to bed and I started doing Algebra homework. I worked on that until 1130 - took a shower and went to bed. I had worked from 7am-noon yesterday. I was tired. I fell asleep and wake up at 430 and no Chris. I panic and call the ER's in town, the cops and then it dawns on me to call his best friend. He answers the phone and I say "Where is Chris?", he goes "Oh we had a lot to drink last night, he is here." I say "What? He couldn't call me?" He goes "You want me to have him call?" I say "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and hang up on the stupid son of a b*itch! What the fuck? He is on a very high dose of anti-depressants right now and is not supposed to be drinking anyway. AND hello! Depression and alcohol aren't really a great combo anyway. Well, he's not going to have to worry about the alcohol killing him anyway, I am going to kick his sorry a**! I am so pissed off right now I could scream! OMG. He better just stay away today. I swear my heart was in my throat. What the hell was I supposed to think? Holy Mary Mother of God, I think I'm going to have a freakin' heart attack. He is going to get it when he gets home. If he knows what is good for him he won't come home. For 2 cents I would take every bit of clothing and whip it out the window into the front yard right now. I have to chill - I'm going to have a cigarette.

And when he comes home, ACT like NOTHING is wrong. He'll want to "justify" his actions. Just be sweet and that will put him on a guilt trip and a half. DO NOT let him explain! Just say, "It doesn't matter, I got a good night's sleep and feel much better today." But DO NOT fight with him - that just egs them on.
I found out after YEARS of arguing and yelling that the silent treatment works wonders. They get mad and you can go in the bathroom and have a really good laugh at his expense. It really bugs them worse if you don't fight back. Trust me -- I'm old!

Well - he didn't! Never saw the SOB again - and in retrospect - he did me a favor. Life has gotten progressively better without him.
Be glad he didn't do a stupid thing that he really can never come home from.

Been there lady... My x husband (Scott and Seans) dad had a hearty 2nd life that I didnt know about... He liked to drink and hang out with the boys after work and there were times when he would pass out or whatever... Well I was pretty gullable so don't believe everything you hear. If he couldnt call you good chance he was in a predicament where he couldnt call you...
Demand~~~ and not just you other women and men too here that have hubbys and wives with night lives away from home... DEMAND that you get a call so you can sleep assured that He/she is safe. I can't tell you how many times I would sit on the steps and wait for him to come home alllllllllllll night and then wake up with a baby the next day.......... one time he got dropped off by a woman in a sports car when the sun came up.....PULLED UP about 3 houses down.........oh ya I'm sure they were just talking.............BOY WAS I A DOPE... DON'T BE A DOPE ~~~GROUND THAT MAN~~~ LOVE REE
(who Dave says is a big shit now but was a little wimp then, hey the guy had a gun what can I say)

At least he wasn't on the roads drunk....but yeah he coulda called. But then if he knew ya'd be mad he prolly wanted to have fun and continue fun (and be irrisponsible thinkin that way) and not call and get shit. Sort of a two way street there. People do what 'they wanna do' in my book and fightin over it doesn't stop them still wantin to do it. Best to come to some sorta happy medium over it.....and of course know what he is really up to. Inocent fun can be good for a person.....but not callin wasn't cool. Hope it all worked out.....anymore I rather act like I don't care then start shit and show my weakness's. I spent the first 3 years of my married life just like that.
We had a major scene just like you described, only he had to leave the next day for 2 weeks work out of town....I moved. Took the whole apartment and moved everything 6 blocks down the road. When he called to try and apologise, I didn't say a word. Well, when he got "home"....hehehe, still makes me laugh...he could look into the patio doors and see nothing ! No furniture, no tv...nothing. He had to call my mom (I was at work) to find out where we now lived.
He calls now.
Quit drinking too.
The bleach in the underwear sounds interesting though...may have to keep that one tucked away for future reference.
