I was just wondering that how many of my fellow Ch sufferers have to suffer from also the flu right now? I've battled mine for 8 days now... Things are looking better, though. No more sore throat! Anyways, PFdays to all, Sandie

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Flu......good grief I 'thought' I had the flu last weekend. Brad brought home chicken wings fer dinner and I ate part of mine and within 12 hours was deathly ill.....but I thought it was the flu. Already had the sore throat version over the holidays. Visting with a sore throat and fever and feelin aweful makes for a bad impression but I was stuck ! So back to my boreing story......started out with my stomach feelin strange overnite and then I was doubleing over in pain in my stomach area that hurt so bad I could not even scream or breathe ! They'd come about every 5 minutes and last about a minute. I don't think thepain could of gotten much worse without my stomach bursting or sumthin busting open !! Took my breath away they were so fierce and heart would skip. Could not sit or stand or move for a day....couldn't drink anything or eat at all. "High fever" but no chills....and total unreal nausia that would get worse with a sound. I was scared. Brad wanted to take me to the hospital cuz I couldn't breathe I was so sick. So then he eats the rest of my leftover dinner and within 12 hours he was doin the SAME dam thing. We 'THINK' it was food poisoning to be so violent. He was peukin on walls and all over the house and screamin. (men are sick sissy's) No one else has had a flu I know of that bad. Didn't get a flu shot cuz none were available here. So......I have lost my lust for chicken wings and never wanna be that sick again. Took alot out of me. Do they make beef wings ?? Vegtable-tarian-Pam

Nope. No flue forme. However my offspring and spouse are suffering from various maladies requiring numerous visits to doctors and many prescriptions. The only complaint i have is that lately i wake up with dried up crusties in my nostrils and a "bloody" taste in the back of my throat. I am suspicious and think this may be my very first sinus infection ever. So far i am taking hot showers and picking my nose. I suspect that soon i will have to break down and take a pill or sumpin. **Yesterday in NY was Veeeery ccccold. Can you tell me why a person would be jogging in shorts? Me and my daughter were driving by and commented on the sad state of the human mind*** Gheeeeeez! I think people are struggling dontchoo?
