Good News at last...

Just recently got off the phone. My new, (in comparison) car is on the way to being deliverd via race car trailer and it's due to arrive late this afternoon!!!
OMG I'm floating on clouds right now...I haven't felt this sort of positive feeling in such a long time. (I think the last time I felt like this was the morning I woke up after the first full nights sleep this spring and I said I wanted to go dance nekkid in the rain, some folks remember that post I'm sure) It's damn near as good as sex...(and depending on the partner even better than sex...but that is entirely a different thread...  )

Don't let anyone know when you feel like dancing nekkid in the rain... half these dawgs would be there with cameras in a heartbeat!
Keep the gas tank 1/2 empty in case of another freeze.

Well Sis, it's a 95 Chevy Corsica, the Mr. Mechanic said that he's put in all the new parts that it needed, all the windows work(my car the wiring on them died so I couldn't even open the windows last summer)
It's used, I know this, but in light of the POS I've been driving for the last 5 years this thing is brand new to me. He said she starts like a dream even in sub zero temps...
I don't care if there is a dent on the passenger side rear door. It works, and the window works...
(anyone have an extra 95 Corsica door laying around? )

When I got my car I got a Tshirt from someone near and dear to me that said
"Bad Ass Girls Drive Bad Ass Cars" and it had the Chevy symbol on the back..
I think we both qualify in the "Bad Ass" department!
Congrats on your car, sis! I know what it is like to own a POS car...(you are lucky your window was stuck....my POS car didn't HAVE a window!  )

Red cars are the best! I used to have a little red car (citroen saxo) and it was a tiny engine.. didn't go very fast so naturally.. when I could I did! I was doing 40 down hill on a 30 section late one night and got stopped by a policeman at the bottom. I wound down my window and he said "Right miss... what are you doing?" " So I looked up at him trying to make my eyes look as big as possible without letting them fall out and said" I was playing fire engines" Well he burst out laughing and told me to go home before he gave me a ticket (sucker!!)
The moral of the story.. if I had a blue car I wouldn't have gotten away with it!!
Have fun with your new car Redd.. nothing is as much fun! ( okay.. nothing on four wheels!!)
