Classic Cars

Anyone out there have a classic car to show ? Mine is a 1967 Firebird. 350 c.i. 3 speed auto with power shift. It was ready for the junkyard when i bought it. Took 5 years work and another 5 sitting around getting nothing done. (lol)  I just took this picture, it's pretty dirty and hasn't even been started in 5 months.

If I get another one i'd like a 1972 Mach I. What would you buy if you had the chance ?

When I was 18 I had a 1969 Mach 1. I didn't have the Cobra Jet enginge though. Mine had the 351 Windsor, 3 speed manual. I was rear ended spun around and hit head on in that car. I took the insurance money and tried to invest it in the stock market. I lost it all and the car went away Embarassed I've regreted that every day since. My CH's started 2 months after that accident. Coincidence???

They were build from 60-62. New price then: 18000$
Now you would need 15.000.000$

Only a few are left.

I kind of like this one.

But I'd settle for 1968 ragtop Camaro  Z28.

What would I buy? A '57 Thunderbird. Maybe next year.

What have I bought? How about a '27 Pro Street Roadster.

I think you should donate that Firebird to O.U.C.H. so they can raffle it off. (Of course after I cheat, my name will be the only one in the barrell)  Grin

I've got a '57 Chevrolet in the basement.....waiting on it's second restoration. In a storage building rests a '78 Trans Am that I purchased new. It's on the list to be sold this year.....with 57,000 original miles I'm hoping it brings a good price. With that cash in hand, the Chevy will come back to life by this time next year. If I can find the time......

My current holdings don't reflect my real automotive desires....hoping to find the right '69 Plymouth Road Runner or '70-'71 Cuda at a price I can afford.

I have a 1971 Triumph Spitefire, my latest in a long line of Britsh sports cars.

My dream car, unlike most men, is not a muscle car.  It is a 1959 Caddy convertable.  You know the one, the one with the big fins, and half way up the fin is two round tail lights!  A real beauty!

The other car would be a 20's or 30's vintage car, convertable with a rumple (or is that a rumble seat?) seat.

Little known fact...There is only 1 yup 1 all original '69 GTO judge left in the world....meaning, number perfect with ram-air 5.

I personally would like to have a 71 Monte Carlo with a nice hefty 427. but I'd settle for a 68-69  Chevelle or El Camino. Smiley

Hell if its got a V-8 , rear wheel drive, and was built before 1980 show it to me I just might consider a purchase Grin
