that when you think things are alright with world a few come and try to take over? It just chaps my ass when that happens. Folks whom have only been here a short time think they own the place all of a sudden. And the old times start to drop like flys!  And we wonder why??  Not every post needs to be responded to. Sometimes silence is golden! Leaned that over the last 4 yrs. Den once said "take what ya need and leave the rest." Oh for those of you who are new here Den is an "old timer" BTW

Maybe the reason people stop coming here has more to do with life outside CH.com and as I have seen in the last month there have been people that have deleted profiles by accident and/or felt overwhelmed in other areas of their lives and felt this was the only thing they could "delete"! Get over it - everything in this life is not CH, believe it or not! I am not downgrading the pain we feel by having CH, but personally, I have other things going on that I need to deal with as well.

Sorry you have lost friends here Lee Lee... but how come I have never left for longer than a few days...((( or actually for Lent once which is 40 days and everyone knew I was coming back)))
I've learned lately in this really sad lately life of mine that this life is also too short. Why is it that I am here everyday and don't notice all the turmoil that seems to be going on behind the scenes... sheesh~~ Well if you want to fill me in. But my attitude has changed with the Tsunami and Mudslides and War happening... someone leaving the board isnt on the top of my list.

I have seen a lot of new people who post a lot. That's what the new people do to get aqquainted with others.
I've seen a lot of old timers post a lot too. That's what they do to stay in touch.
Some lurk and keep silent to post only when they feel a need to.
Everyone has their own way of using this message board.
I don't own this place and I wouldn't want to. I feel sorry for DJ having to see all of the fighting and crap that goes on here every day.
The old timers aren't dropping. They're here still. They are mostly the ones who lurk and don't bother any one.
I personally like to stay in touch with the other people here and I do that by posting and replying to other peoples posts.
I've never met anyone from this message board but I feel like I've known some of you my whole life because you post a lot and I read a lot.

You're right Leesa though some old timers tend to become lurkers. Never posting, just reading. Some people get busy, some get overwhelmed. Some go through mid life crisis, some get a haircut. I'm choosing to have my mid life crisis early just to get it out of the way.
I've been here going on 6 years now. I don't plan on leaving for awhile either. Love you guys too much.
Besides, Frank's writings inspire me, I love the pics from Vig, Svenn, DD, Lobster, E-D, oh and Don sucks.
