Hey, if you get a chance tonight, say the serenity prayer for me.  Got some stuff going on in the next few days.  Thanks !  If there is any good news, I'll post it ... otherwise  Lips Sealed

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Amen.

Thanks for the prayers guys.  The custody case for the boys (just a pre-trial) went really good today.  Couldn't have asked for better.

Of course, with every day there must be a pitfall.  We're off to the hospital with hubby for some tests tomorrow (doc called this afternoon).  Things ain't looking too good there, but heck ... just keep saying the serinity prayer.  Looks like another trip to Pittsburgh soon.

As long as I can keep my head screwed on straight and it ain't a banging, I ain't gonna complain.

Hope you all had at least one happy note today.

I'm doing good guys.  Just keep the prayers a coming.  Red is in the beginning stages of liver failure.  He's got what they call ascities.  That in layman's terms means he's gaining a ton of water weight .. looking like budda ... and beginning to understand PMS a little better.   CheesyHey

He's been put on some meds to try and drain him, and all his results have been sent to Pittsburgh for review.  I just have to watch his breathing, any more weight gain (he already gained 20 pounds in 4 weeks), monitor his diet, and call the doc in the morning !  Roll Eyes  He'll be monitored closely, and I love his doc, so I'm ok with it all.

The boys seem to be accepting the judges decision from yesterday, so things are going good there.

Other than that, it's the normal simplistic life we lead around here.  Crazy and unpredictable ... but fun.
