Not my best but I thought I would share this... i wrote it about how i feel about my dumb A$$ girlfriends telling me how to feel about what I deal with 24/7
Don't Tell Me How to Feel
Dont tell me how to feel...
He didn't share your life,
He just got the call one day,
Left his kids, His wife.
Don't tell me how to feel...
He didnt come from you,
He grew up free and made me proud
Knew what he had to do.
Don't tell me how to feel...
He did not call you Mom..
He does his job and flies the night
He tells us to be strong
Don't tell me how to feel...
For one day you may know.
Your child may follow my childs steps,
and he may have to go.
Only then will I accept
Advice on whats now real
Until then I trust my heart
And KNOW just how to feel...

Thanks you guys but I have written more like it... They would have to have a mag jussssssssssss for Ree. Poetry like art is in the eye of the beholder... I have won awards for my poetry and then at times submitted stuff and got rejected........... Its all political like anything else.......... I recieved an email from Scott today kinda scarey but recieved just the same. He has moved to a darker more dangerous place. Where in this world isn't dangerous at this point. I just want him home... Last night I wrote this one... also not my best work but something that tells you where my brain is when we sit and watch TV... Scott once told me that they don't notify next of kin after
10:30 pm ...........
When 10:30 rolls around,
I put another weekday down.
X out another month day block.
That's goal time on our house hold clock.
Until that time each car goes by.
I hold my breath, I close my eyes.
And pray that car will pass our door,
Then go back to my life once more.
Love to you guys and thankyou for all of the support you constantly give my boys no matter what your political beliefs are... Ree

Well one of the MOMs at my soldier mom support group said that they would come at any time... She has always been a bummer head and she had to bust the only saving grace I had... a time where life could be mine... people suck ya know that... people just suck...!
I think Scott told me this because he knew I couldn't sleep... I'm going to stick to that... 10:30 is the time. love ree
