Does anyone know how i can get photos of a defective memory card?

I've tried the special recovery software, didnt work.

My friend was on a mountain (Mont Blanc) in france and took a lot of pictures at the top and now he lost them. Maybe it was the cold weather (-10)

The card is a Sandisk 1GB.

Thanks in advance.

Wish I could help you...Keep large zipper lock plastic bags in your camera case.  When you are done taking pix, put your camera in the bag while outside.  When you take the camera inside the condensation will form on the bag instead of in your camera.  This may have happened to your mem card.  Give it a day or so to dry out and it might work.  HTH

It's fixed, thanks for your help.

A guy at a photoshop had some professional software and it did the trick, after reformatting the card, it worked well again.
