C.H.A.T.S. Login
March 8th....
As soon as the schedule allows, we will be moving CHATS to a dedicated server on a T1 Internet connection. For now, some may encounter problems saving data as described under the Feb 27th notice.
For those that have requested logins in the last week, I wil have them setup today. You will receive your login information via return email.
Thank you all for your participation and your patience while we correct the technical problem.

Feb 27th....
We are experiencing some technical problems when attempting to access 3rd or 4th level screens and saving data. The problem appears random with regard to Internet connection speeds, computer and/or browser types.
Example..I cannot save data when using my laptop even though it is hard-wired to the same LAN/T1 connection as my desktop PC. Both units are Windows XP PRO, using IE 6.xx. This problem is recognized by the browser trying to save data and then timing out.
We will do our best to correct this problem as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you are having problems saving data, now is a good time to browse the CHATS system. Familiarize yourself with the various screens and pull-down selections, for medications, doctors, alternative meds/treatments/etc. If you do not see your Doctor or medication in the master lists, please email that info to chats-beta@kdlltd.com for entry by the Administrator.

Feb. 25th....After reading floridian's topic on Kudzu, http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=meds;action= display;num=1107368408 it has been added as an 'Alternative Med Treatment' in the C.H.A.T.S. system.
I urge all those now 'beta-testing' kudzu to use the CHATS system to track your progress. If you do not have a login or are having difficulties with your current CHATS user-id/password, please email me at chats-beta@kdlltd.com. I will provide a toll-free number for CHATS assistance in my reply email message.

The Help System has been updated for easier use and understanding.
Please access the Index page of the Help System and click on Login to access the actual CHATS system.
The screen shots within the Help System are linked to other Help pages. You need to log into the CHATS system from within the Help System by clicking on the Login link on the Index page.

Have you tried it since early Feb? As far as I know, only about 3 of 30+ users are having the problem that you've been having. I can even update using dial-up with no problems.
When I return home and move, I will be moving CHATS to Dan's servers. Only problem is I'm not sure when that will be. I'm still out of town looking for work and can't afford to get home. Obviously, CHATS has fallen slightly on my list of priorities --- at least for the moment.
