This whole thing reminds me of how I reacted after my car got swiped.  I lived in LA at the time.  There are probably 20M cars there and I found myself looking around for my car as I was driving lol!  Truth is I may have been more apt to find it than the cops.  They just slapped tickets on the thing.

Forget about the car.  Pin your insurance dork down and demand a replacement.  Oh, and consider getting yourself an American car.  One of the few things left still designed and built here. Lots of American jobs depend on it.

Yes, please do, they break all the time and I make a lot of money fixing them.  Grin

Marlin, sorry. Wrong answer, but thank you for playing.

No. Right answer Frank.  American cars are designed, tested and built in the USA (for the most part - I know there are exceptions).  I worked in the auto industry for a long time myself, on the front end of things - design & test. Plenty of good American cars to choose from.  At least do fellow Americans a favor and look.

OH GOD Bethany!  That sucks so bad!  I will talk to my hubby tonight (who just happens to be an a$$hole car insurance adjuster) and get his advice of what to do with your insurance company!  I will PM you after I talk to him.  What state are you in?  Laws vary from state to state.

Thanks for rescuing this thread kids. This thing was headed for the dumper way too fast.

Anyway, get yourself a car of some kind and then one of those artsy tarps designed like a wrecked car that's put over your new one..... like in the commerical...one of my favorites.  Cool

Good luck kid.

You're right. I'm a night owl but this time of year I'm out a lot. Lots of riding buses for me but fun nonetheless. All done today and not a good time for me to post at ebay.

Marlin, you are a complete jackass, with no knowledge of the plastics end of the automotive industry, nor any idea of just how many Americans are employed with Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, etc. and components manufacture and sub-assemblies for those vehicles. However, if you are convinced that you know everything, (the way that you constantly do) go right ahead. Fuckin' waste of skin....
