I just listened to (in my opinion) the biggest tear jerker song I know of, on Sirius classic country. It is Red Sovine's Teddy Bear. I cry like a baby whenever I hear that song. What is your biggest tear jerker song? Chuck

"Dear Mr. Jesus." I don't know who sings it or who wrote it, but it's about an abused child who's praying. That song tears me up like nothing else...

| I love this song as well... Mine is "If I Could", don't know who sings it. I'm thinking Aretha Franklin, but not sure. It's about a mother singing to her child, wishing she could protect her from all of life's hurts. My favorite part of the song is when she says "If I could, I would shade your innocence from time, but I know the life I gave you isn't mine, but I would, If I could"...(it reminds me of the niece I'm raising as my own). Whew! there I go again! Langa

There's a song, and I don't know who sings it, but it's about a homeless kid who's talking to a department store Santa... That song came on the radio last year, when I was driving down the highway. I honestly had to pull over because I was sobbing my guts out. What the hell, man? Jeez... -Crybaby

Pop/Soul, I think... The chorus is something like, "Jesus was a homeless boy..." That's all I can remember of it. And there was something about the boy saying that he and his family lived in a burned-out car...
