Excerpts from The Book Of Counted Sorrows Darkness devours every shining day. Darkness demands and always has its way. Darkness listens, watches, waits. Darkness claims the day and celebrates. Sometimes in silence darkness comes. Sometimes with a gleeful banging of drums. To know the darkness is to love the light, to welcome dawn and fear the coming night. by Dean Koontz

Koontz quotes a lot from "The Book of Counted Sorrows." I've been meaning to see if I can find this book and read it. It's got to be a wicked dark book, which would pretty much fit the way I feel. On second thought, maybe I'll wait before reading it. Gator

I've always wanted to get this book. And never realized he was quoting himself. I'm gonna try to stop at the bookstore soon and see If they have it.
