As a musician myself, I have a hard time putting into words the way I feel when something like this happens.
I'm glad the shooter got capped too. To bad he got so many shots off first.
Looks like it's time to start installing the metal detectors at concerts now.

This happened on the anniversary of John Lennon's murder also.
I don't think I'll be planning any December 8th gigs any more.

I heard it this morning on the radio and was in disbelief myself. Reportedly this morning the gunman was yelling to Darrel that he was responsible for breaking up Pantera and then began shooting.
My heart goes out to all the victoms families.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!
I am in total shock over this. Dimebag is one of my favorite guitarists. I even have the discs from Pantera before they got Phil Anselmo in the band and Darrell shredded those songs. I saw Pantera live 3 times and walked away each time amazed at Dimgebags phenomenal playing....

I just found out that this happened at a club directly across the street from a hotel I stay at regularly. I do my work there at the Ohio School for the Deaf. I noticed the place because it was always crowded. The one picture of myself I posted here was I took of myself at that hotel. Weird.
