K' I'm back!

Well, after an extended break, we have returned. After two direct hits from hurricaanes Francis and Jeanne, we bailed to Pittsburgh for an extended visit wiith our northern sisters. Y'a know, it's cold up there!
Other than some tree damage, no electric for 9 and 7 days, the dil from heck and tossing out a frige and freezer full twice, we didn't do too bad. I think the dil from heck was the worst, running around schreeching "We're all gonna die" and then, in the aftermath, demanding that her needs are priority and MUST be taken care of at once. And this is after Judy has used up all of her O2 and then my O2. Thank God I didn't need it "cause I would have been SOL But they're now predicting another busy season for next year. Damn, anyone know of a place where it's warm, no hurricanes, no earthquakes and is generally nice?
Judy caught a cold and ended up in the hospital up there for three days and I started another weird cycle just after we got back; right sided, severe, but O2 kicked it's butt. I still get an occasional icepick but they're so brief it's just an annoyance.

Good to see you back. Hope everything has settled down and you and Judy are doing well.
Where I live there are no hurricanes, no tornados, no earthquakes, no forest fires, no mosquitoes (very few bugs compared to most other places), no snow, very little rain, sun shines 362 days a year, summers are warm (a few days it gets damn hot) winters aren’t too bad (usually only gets down to the low 40’s). World class shopping and restaurants. Entertainment is 24 hours a day. You can almost see Mexifornia from here but you don’t have to live there. 
The down side…… ….no ocean (we do have a lake but it sucks). Housing prices have gone through the roof (a 25 year old, 3 bedroom, 1600 sq.ft. will run about $250k). Lots of jobs available (if minimum wage is OK). Traffic sucks.

Good to hear from you dude. A talkin' guy like you has been quiet too long.
Well, I guess to get out of those hurricanes, above the Mason-Dixon line is a bit chilly for that thin Florida warmed blood of yours. Yeah, the cooler climates are an adjustment for the warm blooded Florida dwellers, but no hurricanes, or earthquakes here in Michigan. It's the "generally nice" part though that makes it a tough fit for you. 
Tell Judy I says a big HELLO and will keep her in my thoughts. She's such a dear. Take care that girl Kippers. You should be in for a nice winter I hope in Florida so sit back and enjoy the benefits of winter in Florida.
