Good Morning America, today?

Quote:** TEXAS HEALTH NEWS FLASH – Dec. 1, 2004 ** ************************************ We anticipate seeing Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas featured on Good Morning America tomorrow – between 7 and 8 a.m. The segment features neurosurgeon Dr. Richard L. Weiner and two of his patients who were chronic headache pain sufferers. Dr. Weiner pioneered an off-label use of an existing device ten years ago that appears to provide relief for many patients. The stimulation device, much like a pacemaker, is implanted just underneath the skin and the stimulation basically blocks pain signals from the nerves that are creating the headaches. The device manufacturers, MedTronic, have received FDA approval for a nationwide study to test the efficacy of this new use for an existing technology. We also anticipate seeing a story on CBS-11 (KTVT) on tomorrow’s 5 p.m. news, featuring cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. William Ryan and his use of the minimally invasive technology known as Heart Port – to repair a mitral valve. Dr. Ryan is one of only two physicians in the DFW Metroplex who perform this surgery using the minimally invasive approach. One of Dr. Ryan’s patients was also interviewed for the story. ************************************ All coverage is subject to change due to late-breaking news events. |
| All times are CST. hmmmmmmmm..........I received this notification at 0810 a.m. today, the day of the broadcast! Did anyone see it?

| I heard about that women's Viagra invention. Great Stuff!!! Every woman should buy PLENTY! Screw Christmas, Christmas gifts (unless they happen to be year-long supplies of double-dose woman's Viagra), expensive dates to fancy restaurants... EVERYTHING!!! Why, you ask? Simple - Because all men want is a good screw and not to have to jump through flaming hoops onto red hot coals to get it done. No promises of future favors that we can't deliver on either. So yes, Women's Viagra is a better invention than the light bulb. Step aside Mr. Edison.

Viagra for women: A man who actually listens and takes time to be patient, kind, considerate, and affectionate. Not so difficult.

| For you perhaps. And what if that tidy little formula only works 20% of the time? That leaves you with an 80% FAILURE RATE!!!! If women's viagra is only 50% effective think of all that useless jewelery you won't have to buy! THINK MAN, THINK FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!

| OK, and I've got the exact same arrangement. And you know, the "A man who actually listens and takes time to be patient, kind, considerate, and affectionate" stuff is great! I didn't say abandon this approach altogether. \ I'm just saying progress is a good thing. Technology MAN!!! Get it? Look at it like an insurance policy where a slip-up evey now and then doesn't instantly put you on the defensive for weeks trying to make up lost ground in the sexual pleasures department that somehow seems to get misplaced and mixed up with the every day stuff. Decouple this shit!!!! If women's Viagra can accomplish this monumental task MEN WILL FINALLY BE HAPPY!!!!!

| OK, you're crazy. Look, women and men are not only plumbed differently, they're wired differently too (EXCEPTION: Look at Ann Coulter. I think she's a transvestite. I never get to see her stand up so I can see if she's got a bulge). So I find a lot of things women do crazy and women probably find a lot of things that men do crazy - because we aren't wired the same. And that usually works out perfectly - helps balance things out. But there's a wiring difference responsible for sexual desires lining up. Women seem to need a lot more impossible-to-predict combinations of subconscious shit to trigger a response (candles, jewelery, a properly placed sensitive compliment, a fire in the fireplace...) and that eventually leads to men simply giving up. Believe me.

Except for me.... did you read Opus' libido thread? My advice to men (from a not so impossible to predict woman)... try asking her what she needs. A novel approach that doesn't come naturally to most men. Communication- aphrodisiac for the enlightened...

Believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE. That's why I'm so excited about this women's Viagra. $100/mo, $1000/mo WHO CARES what it costs?? If it works it's PRICELESS!!!! Can be marketed to men as a stress reducer, anxiety reducer and a happiness pill. Oh and by the way... How often I "get it" rarely depends on me. That's the entire point of this discussion.

| No comment, Nani. My recipie for success in my marriage (18+ years) may not work for others. Rest assured, I want for nothing. on Dec 2nd, 2004, 2:11pm, nani wrote:My advice to men (from a not so impossible to predict woman)... try asking her what she needs. | A novel approach, indeed. Communication is key to any relationship. After that is established, everything else is like a butterfly scooting across a field on a summer day.

nani and her hubby:17 wonderful, content and very sexy years. marlin, i didn't see the article, but from what I understand about viagra (for men) is: it won't make you want to , it just makes it so you can. Desire is not an issue that can be addressed w/ meds... that's not a physical issue for women so much as an emotional one.

| I'm sure almost every woman in a reasonably good marriage would say exactly the same thing. And I'm equally certain that their husbands would say their marriage is OK but they don't get enough SEX. Only 1 side of a 2-sided story.
