Cluster War

I am sorry I have not been around lately to help support everyone who is suffering. I know it was selfish of me, but I have been fighting my own demons. Please know that I do think of you all a lot and wish only the best for everyone.
This morning has been a fairly rough one, but the following was born of it. Most of you understand that these poems compell me to write them, rather than me sitting around trying to think up and string together rhyming sentences. As such, I am not entirely responsible for their dark content. They are not as much a cry for help as they are a pouring out, a cleansing as it were, of my soul.
PFDAN and love to you all.
Gator
Cluster War
I try so hard to make it through
Another day of rain
It seems God has abandoned me
He eases not my pain
The day moves on and into night
A time I've come to fear
I know the fate that waits for me
As sleep does now draw near
The beast he waits, he lets me think
That just this once I may
Slumber deep without a fight
No demons must I slay
But this is just a fantasy
It isn't true I know
He strikes so violently now
No mercy does he show
I'm thrust in waking agony
Into this nightly game
My enemy and I again do fight
My mortal life to claim
Cure me now or kill me, God!
Please hear my mournful cry
He sees me not, nor hears my plea
I struggle on and sigh
Another night has come and gone
Another battle won
A battle for my sanity
But the war continues on
I'll struggle on and fight the fight
Though weakening through it all
I fear one day I may succumb
To death's enticing call

I hope you don't have to battle much longer and things turn around real soon. Just remember that while we lose some battles, one day we will win the war. One hope we have are the clinical trials on Psilcybin.
