Honestly I think they should have waited until he was dead before building such a thing.

Is Bill going to share it with Hillary after she leaves the White House in 2016. Or will she get her own?

I thought all (recent anyway) ex-Presidents had a Library for their artifacts and documents during their tenure as President ? I haven't been there yet, as it hasn't opened. So I can't comment. Oh, I get it. It sucked

Don't take me wrong, I love the Library it is a wonderful place, I just think all that money would have been better spent on medical research. Maybe something on a smaller scale would have made more sense. However, not too many things make sense, when you really think about it. Ruth

I've always felt that money that was spent on presidential libraries is somehow wasted.

I think they should put that damn blue dress of Monica's in it. I still can't believe her mother saved the dress instead of spaking her butt for being a very *friendly* person. Every other president has a library so Cousin Bill should have his also. My opinion. Hugs BD

Aren't those places built with donated money? In the gift shop you can bid on a blue dress. They have a special brand of cigars. And for the right "donation" you can buy a Presidential pardon.

| Every US president builds a library after they leave office. I have been to the Truman Library in western Missouri - it was an interesting look into that period of history. Presidents who are sympatico or charismatic are considered Great (Clinton, Reagan, JFK). Presidents that are more introverted (Carter, Ford, Nixon, Bush 41) are not. Television is a big factor. The US abolished the monarchy, but not the psychological tendencies that give rise to cults of personalities. We don't have a Princess Di, but we do have Oprah. Clinton can emotionally connect to a large group of Americans, allowing him to end welfare as we know it, trim the size of the federal government and balance the budget, and still be admired. If an introvert had done that, he would have been vilified as mean and uncaring. Large groups of Americans love that Bubba because they believe that he understands and loves them.

| All ex presidents get a library, built with donated money. Personal issues aside (and they were personal, not political) he was a decent president. His charisma was apparently so great that a (male) comedian once said- "When I met him, he was so charming, so warm and fuzzy, hell- I wanted to blow him!"
