Written when I was 24, thinking of what fatherhood would mean, and what I hoped it would be. Now, at 35, I can say that it is so much more than I ever hoped it would be... A Letter to the Future To you, my yet uncreated child, I can almost hear you breathe I can almost feel your delicate hand wrapped around my finger I can almost feel your sweet head nestled against the heat of my chest To you, my yet to be son or daughter How I anticipate your arrival! How deeply I have loved you, long before your conception! How I look forward to holding you in my arms! To see you smile, kick, wave your tiny hands To see you grow, to teach, to answer, to play with Worthy of your trust And deserving of the title: Father Love, Daddy

what the world needs----more Dads like you. My youngest son has become a Father and it is so gratifying to see how much he just loves that baby boy. I can just see you doing the same. You could write on the side, take your time and if it works out, great for you. No need to starve in the mean time. Ruth

Frank, We should go in halves on a book. I've got several unfinished computer tech books on my system right now. Maybe a book of MS security stuff that rhymes? Dr. Seusse's MS registry guide would be a good title. In all honesty, your stuff is great man. This last one is exactly how I felt when we found out that Mackenzie was on the way. I would have liked at that time to write something for her but I have a hard time expressing my feelings in any written language. You have a way of putting really deep feelings into words and most people just can't do that.

Thanks... I just got back from eating Thanksgiving lunch with her at school, in the cafeteria. It's a special thing that they do every year. It was great... She announced to all of her friends in her class, "This is MY PAPA!!" (Boy, I was so proud, I could just BURST!) LOL

Growing up, I wanted that kind of father. I wanted a warm, caring, and supportive family. Mine was violently abusive. Now, I look around and realize that I have created what I longed for so desperately as a child. Life is good. -Frank
