I saw that you would like to hear more about the haunted house so I thought I would tell what I remember. We moved in 2 days before I started high school. I remember the very first night I wanted to go spend the night at the old house because I just hated the house already. It was so eerie feeling. I constantly had goosebumps. The noises started the first night. Banging in the kitchen, footsteps down the hall and clattering in the bathroom, like someone was getting a bath ready. The smells started within a week. Roses in the kitchen, cigarette smoke (nobody smoked in my family) in the entry to the kitchen and this wretched smell in the basement. Our dogs were scared to death to go to the basement. If I made them go down there with me (the laundry room was down there and also our workout room) they would yelp and pull their butts in like they were kicked. 2 of our 3 dogs died within a year of moving in. My mom and dad started fighting constantly. Like I said I have blocked most of this time from my memory but I remember 3 things very vividly, just like they happened yesterday. 1) About 1 year after we moved in my sister moved home. We shared a room and I woke up one night to see her levitating about 1 foot off the bed. She was wide awake and trying to scream but couldn't. She was so scared. I tried to jump out of bed but felt like I was being held down. I started praying like I had never prayed before for the strength to get out of that bed and to her. All of a sudden it was like I was thrown out of bed and I hit her and she bounced down and up and off the bed. Scared the Holy shit out of me and her both. We vowed that night as soon as I graduated from high school we would move out together and never spend another night in that house. We did just that. 2) My mom and dad were fighting (which was very typical after we moved to this house) and I just ran out of the house and down the road. This house was out in the country and I just ran and ran down this country road. Mom came out of the house after me screaming at me that I was a sleeper and a bitch and a useless c*nt. NEVER in my life had I even heard my mom say anything worse than shit. It was terrifying. When I finally went back I looked up at the attic window and saw a man standing there looking out. (to get up in the attic there were pull down stairs that were a total pain in the ass to get down and just me and mom and dad were home at the time) He was the most evil looking thing I have ever seen. I really wish I could draw because I imagine this is what the Beast looks like. I still have nightmares about his face. 3) I was home by myself one night (which didn't happen very often because I refused to stay by myself, but mom and dad had gone Christmas shopping and my sister was working) and needed to take a bath. I went in to get in the tub and started to take off my clothes and felt like someone was watching me. I ended up bathing in my underwear and bra. There was a laundry chute in the bathroom that was next to the toilet. The tub was on the other side of the toilet running the length of the wall. I was in the tub bathing as quickly as possible when the laudry chute starting banging open and close, open and close. I sat in the tub and cried and cried for probably a full minute before I got up the nerve to run for my room and get dressed, then I sat on the front step for over 3 hours until my mom and dad got home. I was so cold because I forgot my coat and I couldn't make myself go back in and get it. I was so scared. I begged my mom and dad to move but they wouldn't hear of it. They "loved" the house they said, but today they look back on it and realize that they made the biggest mistake of their lives buying and living in that house for 5 years.

That has put the hairs up on the back of my neck. I really do believe in pure evil like this contaminating places and I've experienced it too. I'm glad you got out and I'm sorry you had to stay as long as you did but it obviously had your parents under its spell

My friends tell of an old woman who caused havoc around Christmas time at their place. the first year they moved in, he had checked all the x-mas lights 5 times to make sure none were blown. But everytime he plugged them in, they didn't work. One night they went out x-mas shopping, and came back and not only was every light in the house on, but even the Christmas lights were lit. One night he dozed onthe couch, and the TV started doing the static Poletgueist thing. He knew the remote was on the table, but the TV was on and off and on and off. when it went off, he raced to bed and ducked under the covers.... what a good idea.... Anyway, the wife had seen an old woman standing at the foot of the bed as the TV went on and off She said she aske dthe woman to let them live in the house in peace, in other words she asked the ghost woman to move out. The very next day, the neighbors said they had seen an old woman in their spare room, and when they described what she was wearing, my friend and his wife knew it was their ghost... who simply moved next door..... but lucky she was nice - or at least in a good mood. God protects his children. His angels are constantly running to and fro to shelter them from things we cannot see.
