HE CALLED!! He finished the Red Stage of basic and was able to call. He sounds so mature! All he wanted to talk about was how I was doing.... of course I asked him how he was doing. He's adjusting to this new life just fine. I printed this topic out to send to him... I think he'll like all the responses - they will make him feel even prouder to be serving his country.... and yes, Sandie, I do get scared... but he's not overseas yet (Ree's son is) so I'm only worrying about the future.
