Everything all at once, as usual

First, I'll start off with my unpopular opinion:

Bush re-elected? Swarms of deadly locust invade Cyprus a second time? War in Iraq?

Um, isn't there a book in the Bible about all of this? I think I read it a few thousand times, it's called Revelation.
Me scared.

I was awakened early Tuesday morning at 5:30am by my buddy Paul and his son Ryan, needing a place to stay because his home was wiped out by a massive fire. Everything was lost, including his car in the garage. No insurance. So I am letting Them stay with me for now until he gets something worked out. He's bummed, but I really feel sad for Ryan, who is a little slow and still doesn't understand they can't go home (he's 5.)  They are getting assistance from family and friends, as well as Salvation Army and Red Cross. I hooked him up with some clothes too, which helped.
With everything going on, it seemed futile to worry about going down to City Hall to bitch about not getting my voters card and getting to vote. When I woke up with a CH this morn, I felt awful, have a nasty cold, and at that moment I knew Bush was re-elected without even turning on the TV. Sure enough. The possibilities of Armageddon are endless. Think not? I have even more proof: Liza Minelli and Barry Manilow are considering a tour together. That cinched it for me.  Grin
My leg feels like the bone is frozen. It's a unique kind of pain not unlike a CH (yes, I said that - shoot me...no really, shoot me!)

My Trex supply is almost out, I didn't get my o2 tank (grrrrrr) and right now I don't even fucking care. Just in a funk. Too much happening at once, and not enough time to absorb it all. Gotta run.

Peace,
Carl D
