I found this picture on a Viet Nam web site, thats me with no shirt and skinny inside the ship with the radio, My Ship, My Brothers, a life time ago.
This was in all the national papers here state side! Pappy

In '68 I was with the 2/47 Mechanized/9th Division. Got launched into a couple of Air Mobile assaults from one of those rides. Amazing how you could go from sweating your butt off on the ground at 100 degrees to freezing your butt off at 40 degrees in about 2 minutes.

Awesome pic, man. Thank you for serving and welcome home. I served with the 78th Avn Bn from 1987-1992, and had the privilege of flying on Hueys with many Vietnam vets who were the finest pilots I've ever seen.
