Known SP2 Problems
« on: Oct 27th, 2004, 2:51pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

This article contains a list of programs that are known to experience loss of functionality when they run on a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer.

Win98 had 16 million lines of code....XP, in the beginning had 43 million lines of code.
I am afraid Penguins smell. Grin.
Oh well, at least I can make a few bucks off MS expolits.
MS is making it more difficult to defend them.

I am currently evaluating FireFox and Avant browsers.
Both seem capable and are free...Opera wanted money.

I've been using Opera for a couple years for free, you probably get more bells and whistles if you pay them but I havent found anything that I need and dont have.

I undersytand your problem. I just had to upgrade a friend to Service Pack 12 for his Fedora Core2 Linux setup. So he could play games.

Mark,
I see you are still up to your evil ways by promoting viral code. How did you like the special version of SP-2 I had sent to my computer that you license? I thought the random network lockups  would make your day.

Kirk,
   Nice Cluster.

Mark,
I have seen that before, runs on Win98? What I couldn't figure out was why so many boxs, each box should be able to run 4 video cards, and what's up with all the mice and keyboards, windows doesn't do SSH?

I thought this is cool, a 4 user on one box HP-441

Someday when I can pick up enough free boxs I will build my own cluster.

Hmmm Mark why don't you install a KVM switch? So you only have one keyboard and mouse? Ofcourse since mine is doing paralell processing I only need the one keyboard and mouse.
Cool setup though. I can see why you would need the seat belt for when it crashes.
