Has anyone heard about link to heart defect?

I read today that clusterheadaches often occur together with a heart defect called patent foramen ovale (PFO), in which blood can pass through a small hole from the right to the left side of the heart without going through the lungs first.

Was anyone out there told they had a murmur as a small child or as a baby?

I myself have clusterheadaches, but never had a murmur of the condition PFO, curious about others.

There has been discussion on the general topics, cluster headache specific, and medicines and treatments.  The heart condition is minor, relatively common, and occurs in less than half of clusterheads (43$ of cluster heads vs 10-15% of the general public).  If you notice heart problems, get it checked out.  The PFO heart condition is probably nothing to stress over.
