Never mind all that.. if that is a REAL foot print it's a bloody big foot! I just measured it against my belly button and that baby would have to be about 14lbs to have feet that big! That'd hurt!!

HAHA there is no way I'd be delivering a baby that big without a C-Section!!!
I'm doing clinicals in maternity nursing right now, and I love working with the babies!!! Today right before we left we even saw a circumcision!! Poooooor little dude!! He only screamed once though thanks to the sucrose-dipped pacifier!!! Oh yeah...and also the umm...nerve block he got in his little man. haha He screamed right when they tightened the little clamp on him!! Probably more from fright than pain though at that point...pressure.
I absolutely love working with neonates. After starting this, I'm wondering if I have found my area to work in.... I know you would all be very sad if I left behind Headache Neuro (yeah right....) but working with the babies is really tearing at my heart!!!!

Sheesh.. I'd want a van to deliver one that big! LMAO
Good luck with neonatal Lizzie, it must be both the most joyful place to work and the most heart-rending. I'd love it when all was going well but I think I'd be a liability with one that wasn't going to make it.. thats what makes nurses people I admire alot. I'm glad we have you!
