4 in a row after being down by 3. Never befroe done in the history of Baseball. RED SOX NATION HAS WMD(s) ....Damon, Shill, Ortiz, etc. etc. I want to dance naked on my front porch but I do that on a regular basis anyway so I'll find something differant to do.

The baseball community is stunned, much like the Yankees. Did you see the looks on the faces in the Yankee dugoout the 7th, 8th and 9th innings? I knew by the 7th the Sox would pull it out. I love watching history being made. Seeing it happen makes you a part of it. I'm happy for the Red Sox and thier fans. "The one constant through all the years Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field. This game. It's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good and could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come." Field Of Dreams God, I LOVE baseball! TomM

As I was watching last night, I did start to have a panic attack when Pedro came in. Lowe was doing so well, I still don't understand that call. Yankees are the comeback team, as a fan you never feel safe with the yankees. We know better than to get our hopes up. But man, what a feeling. The last few innings I had to stand up, I could not sit down. So alone in my living room like an idiot Im jumping up and down like a maniac. I called my dad this morning to see how his blood pressure was, because honestly he has been waiting for this for so long, I thought he might have a heart attack. Im at work right now and no one can even do anything, everyone is just talking about the game. Its just so awesome.

Congrats Bean town also from a die hard Yankee fan.... Just don't blow your load too soon and blow the world series. Define "the curse"... is it not beating the yankees or not winning a WS since 1918? Complacency will only bring you another failed attempt. Good luck

Tis' a wonder. Anyway, I'm an American League fan.....at least since the Dodgers left Brooklyn. God they're a goofy-lookin' bunch....probably why they won. Go Sox. Charlie

Yes. They announced it in 1957 if I remember and it screwed up a lot more than just baseball fans. You had to be around to understand. My mom was the biggerst upstate Dodger fan and she nearly went off the deep end every year after the Yankee series....except for 1955 of course. What a year it was. After they snuck out of town though, she became a Cleveland fan....and you know how uncomfortable could be..... Charlie

My mom was a die hard Red Sox fan to. It was listed in her obituary. One time in the ER she couldn't tell the Doc what day or date it was but she knew who pitched the night before. True story. LMAO
