Ok, so I was in chat last night and telling someone how I have not had a headache in WEEKS!! Not even a twinge....I was talking about how great my Lithium and Verap combo works...blah, blah, blah.
I log out of chat and not a minute later I went running for the trex...then I had another one this morning.
That seems to happen a lot....you can be doing well and you start talking about it and rejoicing...then....whammo
WTF???
Is it just me or does that happen to you...and if so ...WHY

yep, it has happened to me many times. I found that any of the following behaviors can result in swift punishment....
declaring victory over it
rejoicing in it's absense
sneaking up on it
laughing at it
believing that I have a 'cure' for it
bargaining with it
calling it names
fricken demon. What can we do? it has us by the short hairs....

I posted about an episode had ended a couple of months ago and that I was off all meds. Damn if I didn't get hit twice that night and once the next night. Nothing since. ???

I'd be happy for some pain free time to brag about. I lie. I had several pain free stretches today. One that lasted 4 whole hours. I guess you take it as it comes.

The few times I have actually had a PFD, I refused to acknowledge it out loud for fear of "jinxing" it. I think I posted about it once. If I mention anything in the way of improvement, i simultaneously knock wood and/or cross my fingers. So - is that an OCD thing (I am OCD) or a clusterhead thing? Hope you feel better soon Jayne.

Thats happened to me too. Its like you trick your brain, and then all of sudden your thinking about it and bam it comes back. I thought my cycle was over, enjoyed a nice patriots game, had a few beers, the next day talking w/someone about my head and that night, the whole thing starts all over again. Its almost like you don't want to talk or think about it because you bring them on. jinx jinx jinx I tell ya. Hope you feel better Jayne.
