Yes, Piera's funeral is today, at 2:30 pm (in Italy)

Blessed be. May you pass from this life knowing how many lives you touched.  Like Charlie, I never met her, but it still does not matter as all CHers (sufferers and supporters alike) are connected...

Cara Piera, stasera mi sono seduta sotto le stelle, ho alzato gli occhi al cielo e mi sono rivolta alla stella più licente che ho visto. Avevo l’impressione che fossi tu. La tua perdita ha lasciato una voragine nei nostri cuori. Tu che hai lottato per la vita e che ancora riuscivi a dire ‘è tutto ok’.  
Tu che con i tuoi occhi hai irradiato la terra e illumininato la notte di mille e ancor più mille colori,
tu che sei stata portatrice di gioia e di intense emozioni fa che del tuo coraggio e del tuo  amore io mi possa nutrire……e che siano eterni! Come eterno sarà il mio ricordo per te. Non ti dimenticherò mai, Piera. Riposa in pace.

What a wonderful memorial, I never knew Peria but it is obvious she was very special and much loved. I feel your pain at her loss.
