Nancy lost her Dad today. He was not well and they all knew it was coming but that still doesn't make it easy. She's one tough lady and seems to be doing fine but I still think a bunch of big hugs would help her out.
Nancy......I bet your Daddy went skidding in sideways, all worn out, declaring it 'one hell of a ride'.

I am so very sorry that you lost your father today. I can relate to what you are feeling. Where the lost is great I hope the memories will be greater. I know for me, that is the case. Take care of yourself Nancy, remember that you need time for yourself to get through this. Trust on Red to help you, give you the space and the shoulder you need. We're all here for you as well.

Spent the night last night with mom & some of my sisters. I made a big pot of chicken corn soup, we ordered pizza and just sat around the kitchen table eating & talking. Two of my brothers got in today, the other two are expected later tonight. The rest of my sisters will be here by tonight or tomorrow. Family is good. My brother from Norway is coming home, so that is a blessing. It will be good to see him and his family.
The funeral won’t be until Friday, so we have the whole week to get ready to send the big guy off. We ordered 30 GREEN carnations so that each of his grankids/greatgrandkids could throw a flower to him. He was very proud of being Irish, the only other thing he was prouder of was his Yankees. So go Yanks. Don’t let the big guy down.
Thanks for all the kind words. It helps. I guess I’ll go start cooking again. Macaroni & Cheese is on the menu for tonight. I love to cook when emotionally challenged. Must be a woman thing. We'll go over and spend time with family & tell stories. Love never does die.
