It is already 20 days. Even if today I had a temptation, I am still resisting.............
And my lungs (and husband) say ‘thank you’...

I haven't met you, and I absolutely wish you the best of luck in quitting... BUT
It's damn hard to quit even here in the USA where smokers are treated like lepers. Italy, on the other hand... well hell, if you don't smoke you're some kind of freak. God bless you for trying though. Good luck and I hope you can stick with it.

For me, it was staying away from my local watering hole and my "friends" who kept offering me a cigarette every ten minutes. It's a game they loved to play. I laid off beer for 4 months.

I'm on day 4 of involuntary quitting, as I can't afford the damn things anymore.

That's the way to go!!!. I quit a long time ago and still want one every once in a while. You must be strong. I loved smoking and it was very hard to quit, but every time I did smoke lately, my heart would get out of rhythm, and now I'm afraid to light up.
And just look at you....two at one time. LOL

Former ch sufferer (28 yrs.) , current supporter to my 33 yr old son.
One black day (Oct. 2, 2004) my post count of 1200 something, went back down to one. I'm an "old timer" in more ways than one.
