Alterbridge? Anyone over 45 relate?

I read throught the Alterbridge post and frankly- have no earthly idea about most of the bands mentioned... It's a sad thing, getting old.  I used to be pretty cool. Grew up on all the great Rock n' Roll... One day in the car I was listening to the "classic" rock station and heard a wonderful ballad, Nantucket Sleighride, by one of my old favorite bands, Mountain. I became so nostalgic that I bought the CD (the album was lost during a move a couple of decades ago) right away. Went home, put it in the CD player, hit play, and walked away. Seconds later, my senses assaulted, I hit the floor with a thud. Then crawling across the room, muttering "too...old...for...Mountain", I had to shut it off as quickly as I could. Yes - sigh - it's a sad, sad thing. I still like my Jimi Hendrix, but the volume has to be way down...
