Dave said goodbye to the "Other Woman"

With much sadness Dave said goodbye to his Neurologist. She is traveling to Utah to do something different at the University Hospital there. If you could have seen Dave, hurt as he was, giving his favorite person (besides me) the third degree 1) Who will take over his case? 2) Will she be personable.....? 3) Will the new doc be able to call her the old doc to ask about him? It was so sad. We feel a little lost. We are armed with prescriptions for the next cycle. I will refill them soon so that they dont expire before he gets hit. I hope his new doc foots the bill. If not we will be on another search...
To Dr. L. Dana Dewitt.......... the Theriaults will miss you terribly. Thanks very much for treating us so well. God Speed !

I am sorry you have lost your doc. I know what that is like. I lost mine last year, and he actually had chronic clusterheadaches. I bawled the day I lost him. I have a new doc now, and she is great.

I'm sorry too  I lost my doc last September when he moved to another country. It sucks a lot!!!
When I first went to another doc in the office, I didn't get along with him very well. I even went to a different doc for 3 months this past spring. However at my last appointment, I finally felt like we connected!!!
So give it some time. It's not easy, but it will get better

I, too, had a doc that I had all the faith in the world in, and when he moved, I felt totally lost and even scared.
It took me a while fo find a doc with whom I could build the same feelings for, but I did and I pray you will too.
I'm sorry you are going thru this.
