Just wanted to share the pic of the very 1st Muskie (Muskellunge) I have ever caught. I think this was taken on 9/7/04 while on vacation up north. We had to let it go because it was only 34" and the legal length to keep is 40". Was pretty cool tho!

Ok, get this...I just found out, that the length minimum is 34 freaking inches!!! OMG, I could just smack my husband!!! Well, not really, it didn't bother me anyway to let it go. I don't fish to keep the big ones, I fish because I enjoy it. I DO keep the big bluegills and bass though for eatin'  .
*sigh* Easy mistake to make, especially with all we went through just to get it in the boat, LOL! (Jesse forgot the net back at the cottage, so we had to motor halfway across the lake to his uncle's boat in order to get a net. That had to be the longest boat ride I've ever had!  )
I'm not mad.
