i like to fly outside of any circles. You'd be surprised at the widened visual and spiritual scope i get from that view. Sure, i held back and sure it didn't always blow warm kisses upwind. Mostly i took my arrogant pain deep inside and made direct challenges - that meant not easy coasting ........but for people of my nature this is not uncommon. What does not come in a flock has usuallycome in trickles for me and that's ok. I kinda like it that way, it cuts thru butter - and i dislike grease buildup. living and observing like that does not mean that it's easier to watch good people break down their own feathers. I always want to swoop down and let the nips take my own soft peaks, rather than see the teeth eat at their own fragile connective furs. sometimes i get tired of all of it, and i want to show how the wind blows ............it NEVER takes aim and it always takes prisoners - fly too close and you will lose feathers - ............i think it would be great if we all went about our lives embracing the loss .....but it seems we are always surprised when our very best intentions bring pain and not the lasting comfort we anticipated. I keep thinking it is somewhere inside the pain that the secrets really exist, but we keep running away from that - because it hurts. I learned to be an eagle and fly above, it gave me certain freedoms but also keeps me captive because i can never actively participate in the solutions - i only see what i cannot achieve.... life is always a double-edged sword. You give in one way and always strive to overcome what is elusive. I swear it's true in one form or another. If we all knew and understood that, we'd know that it's not so much the conquest as is the Journey. Together. Not easy. No promises. But worth sharing.
